1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use ReviewResponder:
- Email address — collected when you create an account, used solely for authentication (magic link sign-in) and service communications.
- Usage data — we count the number of replies generated per day per user or IP address for rate-limiting purposes. We do not store the content of reviews or generated replies.
- IP address — used for rate limiting guest users. Not linked to any personal profile.
- Payment information — processed entirely by LemonSqueezy. We never see or store your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you via magic link email
- To enforce daily usage limits and prevent abuse
- To manage your subscription status
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts)
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Review Data
The review text you paste into our tool is sent to the DeepSeek AI API for processing and is not stored on our servers. Each generation request is stateless. We do not build profiles based on review content.
4. Cookies and Sessions
We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in for up to 30 days. This cookie contains only a session token — no personal data. You can clear it by logging out or clearing browser cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
- DeepSeek — AI model provider. Review text is sent to their API. Subject to DeepSeek's privacy policy.
- LemonSqueezy — payment processor. Handles all payment data. Subject to LemonSqueezy's privacy policy.
- Resend — transactional email. Your email address is used to send magic links. Subject to Resend's privacy policy.
- Neon — database hosting. Your email and usage counts are stored on Neon's infrastructure.
- Vercel — hosting provider. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics — we use GA4 to track anonymous usage metrics (page views, feature usage). No personal data is sent to Google Analytics.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data (email, usage counts) for as long as your account is active. Daily usage counts older than 90 days are deleted. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing us.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
ReviewResponder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
